Fuel Body Awareness brings distinct variety, stimulating challenge and an entirely refreshing mindset about fitness to your life. With years of experience as a bodyweight exercise specialist I have worked with all populations, from those with multiple health challenges to athletes.

My methods primarily focus on using the body's weight to enhance muscle intelligence and strength. The sessions become progressively challenging and varied in style so as to ensure continual progress. Each workout is customized to fit the space available to you.
Session price: US$40/hr

Fitness has always been a passion for me. My commitment to my work and clientele is what energizes me to continuously update my knowledge and modernize my techniques. As a trainer, I seek to educate clients about exercise while making the most of their abilities through encouragement, direction and a sprinkle of tough love.

My Personal Philosophy

In the pursuit to discover what I am truly made of I actively study ideas, concepts and materials surrounding the human potential. This acquired awareness serves as a valuable aid in my quest to develop a working knowledge of the most integrative and vitalizing forms of exercise.

Although I have been an athlete for most of my life, I am an artist by nature. The concept of educated creativity in the world of fitness is what I seek to continuously develop. By testing various techniques, researching diverse philosophies and using my own body I have developed a method that is unique to my background and experience as a fitness professional. In this way I am able to utilize my deep understanding of human performance and movement to create a compelling fitness experience for you.

It's been quite a journey training with Ida over the last couple of years. My body is a testament to her knowledge, expertise and passion for fitness. At the tender of age of 48, I am the proudest I have ever been of my body and find myself looking for ways to show off my toned triceps, flat tummy and rock hard buns. My husband and I have both been working out with Ida and we couldn't possibly be happier. Through seeing how she manages two clients with very different needs and abilities we've truly been able to appreciate her incredible skill as a trainer. Simply put, Ida was my favorite person that I met during my three months in Buenos Aires. When you get down to it, there is just so much to be said for relationships that encourage you to better your life. Ida really helped me address an area of my life that was off. I was out of shape. I had some pre-existing conditions and felt like she really did well in helping me lessen the effect of those conditions while also helping me make sure not to exacerbate the issues with all the other stuff we did. She also seemed to be really mindful of how I could maintain what we were starting once I got back to the States. I really felt like she cared that I was going to keep this going. To that end, she tailored the exercises we did together to be things that I would be comfortable doing alone once I got back in the environment that I would be in. Anyway, I have returned to the States now and I'm doing great with what Ida and I started. If you are thinking about working with her, I say do it. She's got the knowledge, she treats the time that you spend with her like it is more than a job - she really cares (top notch training without killing your pocketbook).

I have been training with Ida three times a week for the past two years and our sessions are a staple in my week. One of the many things I was looking for in a trainer was someone who integrated a variety of exercise routines and Ida absolutely delivers on this. Our sessions are always different and she is constantly researching new techniques to add to the mix. Since our sessions are so varied, when we revisit exercises that we haven’t done in a while I can easily note improvements in my strength and endurance. Beyond her extensive knowledge and expertise she knows how to push her clients to their appropriate limits and is always punctual and professional. I give Ida a hard time for the “torture” she puts me through during our workouts—yes, I have a tendency to be a bit dramatic—but she takes my moaning with a grain of salt and never falters in giving me the superior yet tough sessions I love to hate.

I highly recommend Ida. I've been so impressed with how well she tailors each work out and is able to target exactly the muscles/areas of the body I was looking to improve. I've worked with other personal trainers in the past and after a while the exercises started to feel repetitive. With Ida, the exercise routines are varied and challenging each time. She really knows great techniques, teaching you how to use your own body strength to get really effective results- you will feel improvements in your strength, muscle tone, balance and flexibility. And training with her at the various parks around Palermo has been such a nice alternative to the crowded gym. I would definitely recommend her training sessions!

It is really amazing what you can do in an hour and 3 sqm ... just goes to show that there are no excuses that you don’t have the time or space to train! I had a specific goals of getting my butt ‘carnival ready’ and it was! Be specific with your goal and Ida will get you there in record time.

I have been training with Ida for about 5 months now, after giving birth by c-section to my beautiful baby girl. During pregnancy I gained so much weight it was unreal, and then after the op, the idea of getting back in my jeans seemed like mission impossible. Now 5 months on not only am I back in my jeans, but I’m smaller than I was before. I can honestly say my sessions are the best part of my week. Ida is tons of fun and super nice but she will also give you the kick you need if you are having trouble finding the motivation to get going. She is very knowledgeable and really knows her stuff. I have a lot of problems with my neck, and I have always found doing things like sit ups etc difficult (not good when needing to get rid of the baby belly). I thought that would be a problem, but Ida gives me exercises to work my abs without putting any pressure on my neck, which is fantastic. I can’t recommend her highly enough, if you need to get into shape, want to feel good about yourself, have fun and occasionally need some tough love to find the motivation to do it…she’s ya girl!

I've been working out with Ida for a year now and can honestly say it feels like the best investment (of both my time and money). My motivation to find a trainer was driven by a desire to get back in shape after having two children but a lack of motivation (on my own part) to work out in a way that would truly have an impact on my body. I was fortunate to have lost the baby weight from my children's birth but was left with a body that felt altered from its pre-pregnancy state and, as someone who was very athletically active, missed feeling fit and being more active. When I first met Ida, she listened to what I hoped to get from my training sessions and, since then, has tailored my workouts with her to focus on my objectives. I truly enjoy my workouts with Ida (even though I know I sometimes complain about some of the tougher moves!) because she pushes me to challenge myself but in a supportive manner. She genuinely cares and the time she spends thinking about and planning our sessions beforehand is evident. Most importantly, I've seen the impact of our sessions in my increased strength and tone.

A few years back I had a severe horse riding accident which left my left arm temporarily paralysed. I also severely injured my back and hips, hence, fluid builds up around my joints if I pound too vigorously, making many exercises impossible or very painful. Building strength and keeping fit have been problematic. I have tried various ways, attending gyms, boot camp, yoga etc, however, many of the exercises I was told to do only irritated my joints, making the days that followed impossible to walk and work.
I have now been training with Ida and the change in my body is already starting to show, as well as emotionally feeling better about myself. Now that I am stronger, I am finding that I can do exercises that were impossible when I started. Ida is very knowledgeable about the body and the various physical problems that many of us have. Thought I would do everyone a favour that is looking for a great personal trainer, and hence, I am highly recommending Ida.

I have been training with Ida three times a week, and she is not only very knowledgeable about training and exercise, she is also very passionate about her work and inspirational...which I find essential for training...especially during those not so good days, when you need an extra push to just get through the regiment.
